Lead Facility Operations Specialist, ZA-1640-3 (DE/CR)

As a Lead Facility Operations Specialist, you will perform the following duties:
Serve as Facility Superintendent overseeing the facility maintenance program. Develop and implement a comprehensive facility maintenance program for a 50,000 square foot office building, and 18,675 square foot computer building, including a data center and ancillary mechanical rooms and enclosures. Lead staff and contractors who perform building maintenance. Oversee facility improvement projects. Plan, develop and execute facility maintenance, repair and improvement projects. Manage project operations including planning, budget and contract oversight. Conduct surveillance activities over construction. Perform administrative tasks associated with managing facilities. Manage a computerized maintenance management system to track building maintenance tasks. Perform administrative processes necessary to plan, procure, and implement facilities maintenance, repair, and improvement contracts. Ensure offices are suitable for occupancy. Experience:
Applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and responsibility to the next lower grade level in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. This experience need not have been in the federal government.Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies; knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. To qualify at the ZA-3 or GS-11 level:
SPECIALIZED
Experience:
Applicants must possess one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the ZA-2 or GS-09 in the Federal service. Specialized experience MUST include all of the following:
Implementing the full scope of a building maintenance program including a computer datacenter facility; Reviewing facility construction and/or improvement projects drawings during concept and design phases to ensure compliance with approved design programs; Planning procurement and use of supplies and equipment for maintenance and facilities; and Ensuring contract deliverables meet facilities operational requirements, cost and energy consumption savings, and service improvements. OR SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION:
A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree with major study in engineering, industrial arts, property management, business administration, or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree. OR COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
