Associate Director - Process

About the Department The Commercial team leads all sales and marketing efforts for Novo Nordisk Inc (NNI's) robust portfolio, which includes insulins, analogues, GLP1s, devices, Oral Anti Diabetics (OAD), obesity medications, biopharmaceuticals and new products in the pipeline. The Position This position will be responsible for providing sales process oversight and direction to a team of individuals focused on optimizing and incorporating best practices into systems, process and tools that support the field. This position will also be assigned projects related to project management, process improvement, business analysis and best practice benchmarking. Will act as an internal consultant. The Associate Director will work cooperatively with other members of the department and outside resources to complete analysis and develop recommendations. Relationships This Associate Director reports to the Director Sales Operations and directly supports initiatives that represent the national Diabetes/Obesity sales forces. Leads a team that works closely with the Area Vice Presidents (VPs) Diabetes/Obesity Sales, Sales Execution, Field Force Effectiveness, Market Access, Field Communications, Human Resources, Legal, Information Technology, and Medical. External relationships include those with outside vendors. Essential Functions Serves on steering committees as required as a lead representative for Diabetes/Obesity Sales Coordinates and participates in cross-departmental meetings and projects as requested Responsible for ensuring projects, systems, tools and processes incorporate a field and sales approach Participates in the her task force Member of the mobile application team Partners with the Director Sales Support to ensure alignment, communication and execution of initiatives within Diabetes/Obesity Sales Responsible for overseeing cyclical process support for Diabetes/Obesity Sales Responsible for the development and coordination of goal setting and overall execution of ACE by working closely with Commercial Effectiveness, HR and Sales Leadership Provides direction to a team focused on IC, call plans, sales contests and reward and recognition programs Manages a team responsible for providing input to processes and projects in support of the sales force Completes analysis and research for strategic issues and special projects assigned by the Senior Vice President (SVP) Sales, Vice president (VP) Sales Execution & Operations and the Director, Sales support.Utilizes a project planning discipline to ensure projects are flawlessly executed and sustainable Ensures objectives, outcomes, metrics and timeframes are in place for key projects and key outcomes are sustainable Manages the overall project portfolio for Diabetes/Obesity sales Leads a team that coordinates department-wide projects ensuring key milestones are met by others and project plans are sustainable Leads, researches, tracks and ensures follow-through on sales leadership requests. Ensures deadlines are met and high quality products/ responses are delivered Develops and recommends actions to optimize the Novo Nordisk business in consideration of the conditions and opportunities Owns the Diabetes/Obesity Sales processes and procedures and ensures flawless execution of such Oversees the process to evaluate requests from the field and partners with CE and IT to enhance future technology Responsible for being the liaison to resolve field technology issues Drives overarching assessment and mapping of field technology needs over 2-3 years timeframe, engages with internal partners to assess best platforms and approaches, seeks industry benchmark & incorporates innovative solutions to technology roadmap. Drives optimization of field technology solutions across other field forces where applicable. Physical Requirements 10-20% overnight travel required. Development of People Ensure that reporting personnel have 3P forms with annual goals and measurements that are consistent with the priorities of the business, and that interim reviews are held so that their work is focused on those priorities, and they understand their level of accountability for results and the measurement process. Ensure that the individual development plan (IDP) forms include completed learning and aspiration plans and are in place for all reporting personnel to enable the achievement of goals and capability to assume increased levels of responsibility. Manage the application and communication of all Novo Nordisk policies, procedures, and Novo Nordisk Way. Qualifications A Bachelor's degreerequired. Advanced degreepreferred Ability to effectively plan, prioritize, execute and follow-up in a timely manner and anticipate problems and roadblocks Advanced PowerPoint/Excel skills required A minimum of 10 years of progressively responsibleexperience in supporting a sales force, sales, sales process or a related field A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience or cross-functional team lead experiencerequired Data analysis skills required Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills required Knows how to get things done both through formal and informal channels Must be able to translate problem statements and areas of improvement focus into specific projects and recommendations Must be able to work independently in pursuing project work and developing recommendations Strong analytical and business planning and quantitative analysis skills-able to review data, determine key issues and opportunities and make recommendations that reflect a solid understanding of the larger business context and the objectives and strategies of the organization Demonstrates leadership skills; acts as project lead and has the ability to lead a cross-functional project team in the development and implementation of processes and programs Broad understanding of the field role and daily duties of a field sales representative and field management Novo Nordisk is an Equal Opportunity Employer - M/F/Veteran/Disability/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
