Princeton Health is currently searching for a Full Time, Nights,?Certified L & D Tech for Princeton Medical Center, for the Labor and Delivery Department.

Schedule: ?The hours for this position are from 7:00 pm - 7:00 am (11.5 hour shift).?? 34.5 hours per week.

Position Summary:?The Labor and Delivery Tech?perform a wide range of technological duties by:

  • Acquiring and maintaining knowledge of the principles of infection control, aseptic technique, and sterilization. Applies these skills appropriately.

  • Acquiring and maintaining the knowledge to assist the surgeon during surgical procedures.

  • Acquiring and maintaining knowledge of surgical procedures, instrumentation, and equipment.


All Princeton Health employees are required to receive an annual influenza vaccine unless they are granted a medical or religious exemption.


- High school graduate OR Equivalent

- Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program

- Surgical Technologist Certification?required within six (6) months of hire

- Above average dexterity skills

-?Above average written and verbal skills

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills


- A customer service orientation and teamwork approach

- Flexibility, organization and problem-solving skills


- One (1) year experience as a surgical tech

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
