Princeton HealthCare System is currently searching for a Full Time, Days,?Registered Nurse for The University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro, Float Pool.


Position Summary: Registered Nurses are responsible for establishing a therapeutic relationship and an individualized plan of care with the patient for a defined period of time (length of stay on that unit) and for communicating that plan of care to his/her collaborative partners. The collaborative nurse follows the plan of care created by the Attending Nurse and the patient/family, making revisions based upon the patient?s response to treatment and changing needs. Registered Nurses are accountable for planning, delivering, coordinating, evaluating, and modifying the patient?s care for that defined period of time and for effectively transitioning that plan of care with attention to continuity across shift and settings of care. It is expected that the patients and/or families will know the name of the Attending Nurse, and the collaborative nurse. In order to achieve the defined outcomes of care, the registered nurse will assure that patients and families experience exceptional cooperation among all members of the health care team who treat them and each other with dignity, respect and sensitivity.


Float pool RNs are orientated to pre-defined units within the healthcare system and are expected to work in these areas as the need requires. Float pool nurses may be required to work in more than one area during an assigned shift as assigned by the nursing supervisor.


Qualifications:


All PHCS employees are required to receive an annual influenza vaccine unless they are granted a medical or religious exemption.


Required:


- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing


- Active Registered Nurse License in the state of New Jersey


- Basic Life Support certification (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association (AHA)


- Computer Literacy


- High Level of Physical Strength, Stamina and Agility


- Great Interpersonal and Communication Skills


-?Pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds


Preferred:


- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)


-?Two (2) years of previous critical? care, ED or Telemetry experience strongly preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
