University Recruiting Specialist The University Recruiting Specialist will act in several capacities; the first is a consultant and talent advisor to the stakeholders within your assigned division(s).
The second is a value added partner to the academic institution Career Centers & faculty on behalf of client.
The third is to identify, screen & select students for co-op, intern and new grad opportunities that include technical knowledge and diverse talent.
In this role you must demonstrate the ability to be result oriented, self- motivated, & collaborative.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Partner with business(s) to accumulate needs for co-op, intern & new grad hiring at appropriate times during the year - Create timelines and project plans associated with each academic institution for all activities and events including influencing stakeholders to attend and communicate regularly to institutions - Create interest and awareness across the business(s) as it relates to University Recruiting using internal communication tools - Partner with your Talent Acquisition group to understand where new grads may fill their open roles and work with schools to provide pipelines of talent and communicate to academic institutions the positions open at all times during the year - Recruit at conference & other hiring events, network and source for a diverse pool of candidates, screen resumes, assess and interview candidates, and provide feedback and recommendations to Staffing & hiring managers.
- Report out to all stakeholders including UR Leadership, Talent Acquisition, divisional business stakeholders - Ensure compliance with Company applicant tracking practices and with federal/state laws.
- Understand budget associated with program and plan events and necessary purchases according.
- Responsible for insuring compliance to EEO/OFCCP regulations.
- Manages relationships with third party vendors as necessary.
- Other special projects and duties as assigned.
The position may require up to 25% travel which predominantly occurs in the Fall months.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience - 2 years' experience within a recruiting team - 1 year within university recruiting preferred - Experience screening & recommending candidates to Hiring Managers preferred - Experience using an applicant tracking system required; Taleo preferred - Requires working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) - Experience presenting and influencing at multiple levels of the organization - Demonstrated strength in written and verbal communication as well as strong relationship building/maintenance, facilitation and influencing skills required - Experience in an OFCCP regulated organization including job description requirementsCielo is the world's leading provider of global talent acquisition and management solutions.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
