IME ONCO SPECIALIST

The IME Oncology Specialist goal is to understand learning needs across customer segmentations (healthcare professionals and patients) and help develop and execute a strategic IME Plan, ensuring educational objectives from US & WW Medical are incorporated.
Understand and considers, and shares education efforts across medical and other parts of the organization when executing IME programs.
Effectively leads change in oncology medical education to continuously adapt to a dynamic environment and acts as a champion for independent medical education.
Responsiblilites include:
Identifies key health care professional educational goals; Aligns with medical therapeutic strategy to ensure delivery of programs consistent with BMS therapeutic areas of focus Align with US and WWT medical on strategy, provide program updates Develop and execute on strategic RFPs Review, approve Category 1 & 2 grants Identify new channels & innovative approaches for adult education Interfaces and collaborates with external societies and providers to evaluate capabilities and seek most effective and cost efficient medical education activities.
Collect and analyze program outcomes & incorporate into strategy and insights Effectively manages budget and resources to meet short and long term objectives.
Qualifications Healthcare degree:
RPh, PharmD, or related healthcare professional, plus at least 5 years of experience within the pharmaceutical or related healthcare industry.
Medical education experience preferredUnderstands the needs of health care professionals and patients and the ability to articulate needsAbility to drive implementation of education strategy in alignment with US & WW Medical Objectives and to establish effective communication and clear accountabilities within Medical and across organizational and functional boundariesAbility to successfully interface with medical thought leaders, societies & large organizations, and IME medical education providers with knowledge of ACCME, SunshineAct, and relevant compliance regulations and SOPsPossesses familiarity of drug development, commercialization processes Demonstrates familiarity of new scientific/ clinical developments and the regulatory environment to ensure company's strategy and compliance in short and long termWorked successfully in a cross-functional medical matrix team; ability to facilitate discussions and decision-making with cross-functional team members; ability to influence and negotiate appropriate solutions; experience in project managing multiple priorities under tight time constraints and proven ability to establish strong stakeholder relationships (internal and external)Proven ability to engage and energize employees through communication of goals and priorities USMedical Bristol-Myers Squibb is an equal opportunity employer - Vet/Disability - 1501907.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
