To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Administer flow of contracts through the law department, including maintaining systems to receive requests, track, direct, and report on contracts.
Maintain metrics on contract volume, performance, and other contract operation metrics as needed, and furnish metrics reports on a regular basis.
Responsible for the organization and maintenance of law department files, and the tracking of contract status from entry into the department to execution and distribution using LawTrac, or similar contract management software.
Draft and revise agreements for review by lawyers and contract managers in the department.
Assist on departmental projects, including, but not limited to, revision or implementation of company form agreements and compliance projects.
Interface with internal client groups regarding contracts, including but not limited to status and terms.
Coordinate with internal client groups to assist in contract management and completion.
Provide administrative support, including, but not limited to, all scheduling and travel, facility planning and registration for meetings, telephone support, expense submissions, routine correspondence, incoming mail management, supply ordering, and maintenance of training and internal departmental files.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
