Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Small scale Perfumery General Compounding support for both local and global formulae.
Prepare fragrance compounds by precisely weighing accurate formulae ingredients using automated system.
Ensuring all ingredients are quality and within expiration date.
Perform other lab and project tasks as directed by the Lab Supervisors.
Maintain an organized collection of Raw Materials Be able to help out with overflow work when volumes increase.
Maintain a clean and well-organized laboratory/workplace.
Identify inefficiencies and propose viable solutions following Lean Management principles and guideline.
Assure compliance of HS&E procedures and proactively contribute to the improvement of lab safety.
Wear appropriate PPE (gloves, goggles, lab coat, closed toed shoes) and follow safety protocols.
Independent and efficient use of all internal tools for data collection/recording and administration.
Maintain awareness of technology and issues affecting own job.
Contribute to team success - Actively participates as a member of a team to move the team toward the completion of goals.
Required Education & Professional
Experience:
BS in Science required.
High School diploma or equivalent experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
0-5 years in a laboratory/compounding environment.
Quality Orientation - Accomplishes tasks by considering all areas involved, not matter how small.
Showing concern for all aspects of the job.
Accurately checks for processes and tasks.
Customer Focus - Makes customers and their needs a primary focus of their actions.
Develops and sustains productive customer relationships.
