What You Will Do :
Play a key role as a Scrum Master/Product Owner role as part of an R&D portfolio for a growing biotechnology company.
Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Product Owner/Scrum Master to join our client's Agile team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up efficient processes, creating Agile templates in Confluence, and managing JIRA boards to enhance team productivity. This role is a blend of a Product Owner and a Scrum Master, perfect for someone passionate about Agile methodologies and eager to contribute to the development of high-quality products.
Work You Will Do:
Process Setup and Improvement: Implement Agile processes and practices across the team. Continuously evaluate and improve processes to enhance team efficiency and product quality.
Agile Templates Creation: Develop and maintain comprehensive Agile templates in Confluence to standardize and streamline team workflows.
JIRA Board Management: Create, configure, and manage JIRA boards to track and facilitate Agile project management effectively.
Backlog Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize backlog items, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Sprint Planning and Review: Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring clear communication and goal setting.
Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment where team members can share ideas and solutions. Act as a mediator between the team and stakeholders when necessary.
Training and Coaching: Provide ongoing training and coaching to team members on Agile practices and tools. Support the team in their Agile journey, encouraging continuous improvement.
Reporting and Analytics: Generate reports and insights on team performance and progress using Agile metrics and JIRA analytics.
Must Haves:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
Basic understanding of Agile principles, practices, and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
Experience in setting up and managing JIRA boards.
Familiarity with Confluence and the creation of Agile documentation/templates.
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
Passionate about continuous learning and development in Agile methodologies.
Nice to Have:
Scrum Master or Product Owner certification.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
