Sr Electro Mechanical Technician

Responsibilities SUMMARY DESCRIPTION Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, control instrumentation related to equipment used in the manufacture of medical devices. The position will be responsible for conducting both Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance tasks on 2nd shift. SUPERVISION RECEIVED Under direct supervision of Maintenance Manager SUPERVISION EXERCISED None ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. o Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing process equipment as required. o Manage all documentation following Good Manufacturing practices. o Execute Preventative and Corrective Maintenance Tasks in a timely manner. o Complete all assigned tasks following cGMPs, OSHA and other Federal and State regulations o Housekeeping of assigned work area o Provide input into new equipment and instruments o Execute other related assignments as required. QualificationsDESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position. o Certificate from a Vocational or Trade School or Associates Degree in technical field o Minimum of 10 years work experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance preferably in the Medical device or Pharmaceutical industries o Knowledge of troubleshooting PLC system o Knowledge of troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation systems o Knowledge of troubleshooting mechanical and pneumatic systems o Knowledge on personal computer and software like MS Word, Excel and Power Point o Experience with CMMS software ADDITIONAL INFORMATION o Able to work with minimal supervision o Willing to be on an emergency standby schedule as created by the Maintenance Manager, to handle emergency calls. o Must be available for overtime for shutdowns, emergency situations, and / or work flexible hours. o Willing to perform tasks not part of the maintenance function. o Willing to work on assigned shift. o Willing to cover vacation schedule for other resources at different shifts .TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED Hand and power tools, meters and other diagnostic equipment PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The physical requirements listed in this section include, but are not limited, to the motor/physical abilities and skills require of this position in order to successfully undertake the essential duties and responsibilities of this position. Adverse exposure may result from the handling of hazardous and biohazardous materials that include, but are not limited to, flammable and corrosive liquids, compressed gases, sharps, and medical wastes. Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Mechanical Engineering, Electrical EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
